| For January, February and March all Sunday school classes will be held at the Frankfort church. There will be two opportunities for the students to attend classes. One will be held at 9 am and the other with the students leaving at about 10:10 am from the combined 10 am worship service. The Morning Star Sunday school students in Frankfort are shining stars. The children decided that they wanted to help others who are less fortunate this holiday season. After some brainstorming and discussion, they agreed to sell candles to raise funds. The children made a profit of $181.00! The Morning Star church sponsored four children for the Gram Lorraine project, and on December 6th, the Sunday school children from Frankfort went shopping. All of them were great shoppers (something they must get from their moms)! On Sunday, December 7th, we had our annual Christmas breakfast. After filling up on pancakes, eggs, and sausage, the children wrapped the gifts we had purchased. The Sunday school children were so excited as they wrapped the gifts and worked until the worship service. I heard more than once, “He’s going to live this!” and “She’s going to love that!” What a blessing it is to not only participate in such a worthy cause, but to have children who think of others who are less fortunate. Between the church and the Sunday school efforts, the four children whom we sponsored received many gifts and should have had a wonderful Christmas. We want to thank all of those who purchased the candles for this project and made it a great success. A special thanks goes to Jennifer Humphrey and Arleen Kellogg for helping with the shopping trip. With thoughtful children and others such as these, our church is in good hands. These children are our future. God Bless, Deborah McCraith
